Vitamin E, oleic acid, potassium and phytosterols: the Langhe IGP Piedmont hazelnut is rich in substances that are good for the body. They are a great snack for athletes and an excellent addition to sweet and savory preparations."

For this trip the general terms and conditions of tour operator – IBE Travel apply
Dear IBE-Travel customers,
At this point we would like to ask you to pay attention to our general terms and conditions below, which you accept when you make your booking. These terms and conditions apply to all trips organized by IBE. They supplement and complete Sections 651a m BGB and Sections 4 11 BGB InfoV. For trips from other providers or services from third parties that IBE only arranges, their terms and conditions apply. And here are our general terms and conditions:
I. Conclusion of travel contract
1. Only with their written confirmation to the travel participant or the
Travel agency, the travel booking becomes legally binding for the company IBE-Travel (hereinafter: IBE). For the travel participant, the registration for the trip is binding until it is accepted by IBE, but for a maximum of 14 days from the registration date.
2. The travel contract is constituted by the traveler's booking and its acceptance by IBE. It includes service descriptions and further additions to the type, scope and design of the respective trip. These service descriptions and additions can be changed by means of a change notification by IBE (no later than receipt of the confirmation) or a written agreement with IBE. Travel agencies may not make any assurances that deviate from, change or supplement the service descriptions (including the travel conditions).
II. Mediation of third-party services
If IBE expressly arranges individual travel services (charter flights, ferry transport, etc.) or travel programs of other organizers on behalf of a third party, the respective statutory provisions and the conditions of the third party contractual partner shall be decisive for the conclusion and content of such contracts, to the extent that they have been included.
III. Cancellation reservation if minimum number of participants
Please note a special feature of IBE-Travel: We organize individual group trips. This means that a minimum number of participants must be reached for each trip and if this minimum number is not reached, IBE reserves the right to cancel a group trip - no later than 21 days before the start of the trip.
IV. Security certificate/payment (down payment/payment)
1. All payments towards the travel price, including deposits, are made against the issue of a security certificate in accordance with Section 651k of the German Civil Code (BGB).
2. A deposit is to be paid upon conclusion of the travel contract, namely in the amount of 30% of the
travel price, but not more than EUR 1,000. The remaining amount of the total travel price must be paid between the 21st and 14th day before the start of the trip. The exact due date is stated in the booking confirmation. If the booking is made less than 14 days before the start of the trip, the total travel price must be paid in one go when the security certificate is handed over. If the travel price is due according to the above criteria, there is only a claim to the provision of the travel service by IBE if full payment has been made.
3. Processing and rebooking fees, insurance premiums and cancellation fees are due immediately.
V. Changes
1. The booking confirmation contains the contractual services owed by IBE in the form of the respective service descriptions, the recorded travel itinerary and information on the focused travel area. Changes can be made up to and including receipt of the booking confirmation.
regarding the type, scope and design of the services owed under the contract.
2. Activities that are described in the travel descriptions as “possibility”, “opportunity” or “option” are not included in the travel price and are not part of the services contractually owed by IBE.
3. The first and last day of a booked trip are primarily used for the provision of the transport service by IBE. With regard to air transport, IBE is not responsible for different flight times, routes or a change to the operating airline or the aircraft used, unless the traveler can assert claims due to unreasonable changes to the service.
VI. Changes in price after the contract has been concluded
If unforeseeable circumstances occur after conclusion of the contract for which IBE is not responsible, but which lead to an increase in the price components
Exchange rates
Transport costs
Charges for certain services
Port and airport fees
Security fees for air transport
Entry, residence and public entrance fees
then IBE is entitled to increase the travel price. The prerequisite for the admissibility of such an increase is a period of more than four months between conclusion of the contract and the start of the trip. In addition, the price increase must be communicated to the travel participants immediately as soon as IBE becomes aware of the reason for the increase - but no later than 21 days before the start of the trip. The decisive factor for the permissible amount of the price adjustment is the actual sum of the increases in the price components listed since the conclusion of the travel contract - always related to the specifically booked trip. Increases in price components that affect the travel group as a whole are passed on to the individual participants. The basis for calculation is - always in favor of the travelers - either the originally calculated or the specifically expected number of participants. IBE is obliged to provide the travel participant with appropriate receipts and evidence on request. If the travel price increases by more than 51%, the travel participant may withdraw from the contract without paying compensation. Alternatively, he would be entitled to a replacement trip in accordance with Section 651a Paragraph 4 Sentence 3 of the German Civil Code (BGB). For both alternatives, the traveler must immediately register his claims with IBE or the booking travel agency.
VII. Cancellation by the customer/rebooking/additional costs
If the traveler cancels his travel contract before departure, IBE has the following options:
1. Specific calculation of the cancellation compensation
2. Setting a lump sum cancellation compensation:
Up to and including 46 days before departure: 10% of the total travel price
From 45th to 22nd day before departure: 20% of the total travel price
From 23 to 15 days before departure: 25% of the total travel price
From 14th to 8th day before departure: 30% of the total travel price
The basis for the specific calculation of the cancellation compensation is the final travel price per registered travel participant.
The key date for calculating the deadline is the day on which IBE receives the notice of withdrawal.
The basis for the flat-rate cancellation compensation is the profit made by other use of the
Travel services usually possible acquisition taking into account the expenses usually saved. The traveler has the opportunity to prove that less damage has occurred than specified in the flat rate.
The same conditions apply to rebookings as to cancellation of the trip before the start of the trip
(Cancellation compensation) for additional new registration: This applies to the rebooking of destination,
Travel date, accommodation, type of transport or fare or booking class and flight connection for air travel. Furthermore, rebooking is only possible if the desired replacement service is available. Changes to the departure location for bus and train journeys up to 8 days before the start of the trip are excluded from the above regulations: In this case, IBE will recalculate the travel price and only charge EUR 25 per travel participant.
If the minimum number of participants specified in the travel description or other documents that have become part of the contract is not reached, IBE can withdraw from the travel contract up to 21 days before the start of the trip at the latest. The traveler is then entitled to participate in a replacement trip from the IBE program, provided that IBE is able to offer one at no extra cost to the traveler. The regulations regarding the minimum number of participants also extend to optional parts of the program such as excursions and other activities that can be booked additionally.
VIII. Force majeure
In the event of special circumstances, so-called "force majeure", which were not foreseeable at the time of conclusion of the contract and which are likely to make the trip significantly more difficult, dangerous or detrimental, both the traveler and IBE can terminate the travel contract. While the traveler must always address his termination directly to IBE, the termination by IBE can also be made through its
authorized tour guide or local representative to the travel participant. Such termination due to "force majeure" must be made by IBE immediately after becoming aware of the circumstances relevant to the termination.
The basis for the rights and obligations arising from termination is the Travel Contract Act. If there is an important reason, IBE can terminate the travel contract both before the start of the trip and during the trip - also through its authorized tour guides or local representatives. The provisions of Section 643 of the German Civil Code must be observed here. Important reasons exist if:
The traveler does not meet the special travel requirements announced beforehand, the traveler's behavior permanently disrupts or endangers the course of the trip and this disruption or endangerment is not or cannot be remedied even after a warning.
If these important reasons exist, IBE is entitled to the travel price in the event of termination. However, IBE must take into account the value of saved expenses and the proceeds from other use of services not used. The same applies to the amounts credited to IBE by the service providers.
According to §651b BGB, the travel participant has the right to appoint a third party to participate in the trip instead of him/her. However, if this replacement person does not meet the special travel requirements or if their participation conflicts with legal regulations or official orders, IBE has the option of objecting to this third party's participation in the trip. In this case, the original and new travel participants are jointly and severally liable for the travel price and the additional costs resulting from the change of participant.
IBE recommends that its travelers take out travel health insurance including emergency medical assistance, the so-called "all-round carefree service" and travel luggage insurance. We particularly draw attention to the latter in view of the liability exclusions and limitations of IBE agreed below.
IX. Liability
In matters of liability, IBE relies on international agreements and the legal provisions based thereon, provided that these can be applied in the individual case. A concrete example of the first case is the Montreal Convention (for air transport) or COTIF (for
Rail transport) or in the second case, for example, §§664ff HGB in conjunction with the 2nd Maritime Law Amendment Act for sea travel. The aforementioned provisions stipulate that a claim for damages can only be asserted under certain conditions or restrictions, or is excluded under certain conditions.
If the traveler suffers damages arising from the travel contract that are not physical injuries, IBE is liable for this up to a maximum of three times the travel price. The prerequisite for this is that the
Damage was neither caused by gross negligence nor intentionally
IBE is liable for any damage suffered by a travel participant solely due to the fault of a service provider.
The following applies to the payment of damages arising from tortious acts: IBE’s liability towards the
Travel participants – provided that neither intent nor gross negligence is present and the damage is not
Category bodily injury – is capped at three times the travel price per traveler and trip.
IBE is liable without limitation for damages in the above categories up to EUR 4,100. Any further claims the traveler may have against IBE based on other legal regulations remain unaffected by the liability limitations listed.
In all cases in which IBE acts only as an agent for third-party services, liability is limited to the proper provision of the service: IBE is not liable for the provision of the service itself. For all information about services provided by third-party contractual partners, it applies that these are not assurances from IBE to the travel participant, but merely information from the respective third-party contractual partner.
In the event of a travel service not being provided in accordance with the contract, the traveler can demand redress from IBE. This can only be refused if it would require disproportionate effort. One of the options for IBE to remedy the situation is to provide the traveler with a reasonable replacement service of equal or higher value. For the duration of the service not being provided in accordance with the contract by IBE, the traveler can demand a reduction, i.e. a reduction in the travel price based on the ratio of: value of the faultless trip to its actual value at the time of
Booking. Such a claim for reduction expires if the traveler negligently fails to
Furthermore, under special circumstances, the traveler has the right to
Travel contract, within the framework of the legal provisions and with a reasonable period of notice for
Remedy, namely if as a result of a defect
the trip is significantly affected
or the trip or its continuation is unreasonable for the travel participant for important reasons.
The traveler's obligation to grant a reasonable period of time to remedy the situation ceases to apply if remedy is refused, is impossible or if a special interest of the traveler justifies immediate termination of the travel contract. If this occurs, the traveler only owes IBE the part of the travel price that relates to services actually used and only if these services were of interest to him.
X. Deficiency
If a circumstance for which IBE is responsible is the cause of a defect in the trip, the
travel participant the opportunity to claim compensation without affecting the rights of the
travel participant's right to terminate the travel contract or reduce the travel price. However, if the travel participant fails to inform IBE of the risk of unusually high damage or fails to avert or reduce damage, the legal consequences of contributory negligence or joint negligence pursuant to Section 254 of the German Civil Code (BGB) apply.
It is the job of the local representatives and tour guides to accept notifications of defects and requests for remedial action during the trip and to provide remedial action where possible and necessary. They are also authorized to terminate the travel contract by IBE (e.g. in the event of force majeure). However, the local representatives and tour guides are not authorized or empowered to recognize claims for reduction or compensation with effect against IBE.
With regard to entry, passport, visa, customs, foreign exchange and health regulations, the information provided by IBE reflects the current status - for German citizens - at the time the information was provided. This applies both to the aforementioned regulations and to the deadlines for obtaining the relevant documents and does not take into account any personal circumstances unless these were obvious or communicated.
Dear travel participants, please note that at any time the entry, visa, customs, foreign exchange and
Health regulations may be changed by government authorities. In addition to the
Although IBE makes every effort to ensure that all information provided is as complete and up-to-date as possible, we recommend that you inform yourself about the situation in the country you are travelling to via the media and the travel advice of the Federal Foreign Office. If the rules, recommendations and provisions listed result in difficulties for the traveller which affect or prevent him from taking part in the trip, this does not entitle the traveller to withdraw from the travel contract free of charge. This of course only applies if IBE is willing and able to provide the service and if the difficulties are not the responsibility of IBE.
XI. Claims/Preclusion period/Limitation period
The traveler must report contractual claims due to non-contractual provision of travel services to IBE within one month of the contractually agreed end of the trip. The claims must be addressed in writing to:
IBE-Travel, Werinherstr. 3, 81542 Munich
The date of receipt of the complaint is decisive for compliance with the deadline. If the deadline has expired,
Claims can only be made if the complaining traveler is not at fault for not meeting the deadline.
Contractual claims due to non-contractual provision of travel services expire after the expiry of a
Excluded from this are claims for personal injury or claims based on intent or gross negligence.
Negligence, – for these, a limitation period of two years applies. The limitation period begins with the
Day on which the trip was supposed to end according to the contract. The deadline is suspended as long as negotiations about the
The claim or the circumstances giving rise to the claim are pending until IBE or the claimant refuses to continue negotiations (§203 BGB). The limitation period begins at the earliest three months after the end of the suspension.
If the travel participant moves his or her place of residence or habitual abode abroad after the conclusion of the contract or if this is unknown at the time the action is brought, the place of jurisdiction for claims by IBE against the travel participant is Munich, unless mandatory statutory provisions conflict with this.
IBE may change service descriptions, explanations and prices until the travel participant receives confirmation. The contents of the confirmation in connection with the booking are the only relevant information for dates, departure times, etc., supplemented by other effective agreements if necessary. The identity of the operating airline or any subsequent changes will be communicated to the travel participants immediately by IBE (EU Regulation No. 2111/2005).
The personal data provided to IBE will only be processed and used electronically to the extent necessary to execute the contract. In addition, IBE will inform you about current offers in the future - but of course you can immediately refrain from doing so if you do not want this service. A short message to us, e.g. by email, is enough!
XII. Miscellaneous
In addition to these general terms and conditions of IBE, the relevant statutory provisions, in particular the travel law provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB) §§651 ff, apply whenever IBE acts as a tour operator and the contract is subject to German law.
